MySkin Photography is a new Total Body Photography (TBP) company in the Chicagoland area. Our comprehensive approach to Total Body Photography establishes a baseline of skin health and helps identify changes over time for early detection of skin conditions. MySkin photography captures a sequence of 38+ images of patients' bare skin, known as The MySkin Baseline, to assist patients and their doctors with tracking skin changes with confidence.

MySkin is seeking experienced studio photographers with excellent customer service skills to join our team on a part-time basis. Photographers must be willing to obtain their certification in Total Body Photography from the BioCommunications Association. MySkin will provide reimbursement for certification and any related study materials. While working toward certification, Photographers will have the opportunity to train with our Director of Photography and work as a Photo Assistant at our downtown Chicago studio.

Responsibilities:
Set up and break down the studio space and lighting for patient appointment

Interact with patients in a professional, service oriented manner

Photograph patients following the TBP sequence

Produce unaltered photographs of patients following the TBP sequence

Complete digital image transfers to our secure patient portal

Complete all job role training including HIPAA privacy and compliance trainings

Collaborate with the MySkin team to support successful patient experiences

Skills required:
2-5 years studio, or related photography experience

Advanced knowledge of manual photography techniques

Experience setting up studio lighting and using light metering equipment (preferred)

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Highly developed ethical standards

Ability to carry up to 50lbs of equipment

Equipment required:
1x Camera: Full-frame DSLR or mirrorless camera of at least 12 megapixels or greater resolution

1x Prime macro lens: A ‘normal fixed’ focal length macro lens between 60mm and 105mm flat field lens should be used to minimize any distortion

2x Memory cards: ≥64GB; reputable brand like Sandisk or Sony

1x Photographer-owned laptop

Equipment required if shooting in Photographer’s own studio space (subject to MySkin approval):
2x identical strobes, 400w or stronger

2x identical 2’x3’ or larger softboxes (4’x6’ recommended) with supports

1x remote strobe trigger
